Accessibility and alternative formats

The short versionIf any part of this website or the pack you buy does not work for you, email
hello@silready.com and say what you need. We will send it in a format that does, free, within one business day. You do not have to explain why, and you do not have to have bought anything.
1. Why this page exists
We sell documentation into the disability sector. It would be a poor look to do that on a website that only works one way, and a worse one to hand a provider a pack their own participants could not be shown. So this is not a compliance page — it is a list of things you can actually ask us for.
2. What you can ask for, free
- Plain text. Any page on this site, or any document in the pack, as a plain
.txt or Word file with no styling — for a screen reader, a braille display, or your own reading software.
- Large print. The pack reset at 18pt or larger, with more line spacing, as a PDF or Word file.
- Easy Read. A short Easy Read summary of what you are buying, before you buy it, and an Easy Read version of the participant-facing documents in the pack.
- Read aloud. If reading a long page is the barrier, ask and we will send the same content as an audio file.
- More time. If a deadline on our side — the seven days to check your pack, or the seven days for the A$50 review — does not suit how you work, say so and we extend it. We have never refused this.
Ask by email. There is no form, no account, and no assessment. "Send me the pack in large print" is a complete request.
3. What we have already done to this site
- Every page works with the keyboard alone, and the focus outline is left visible rather than styled away.
- Text resizes to 200% in the browser without anything overlapping or being cut off.
- Body text is 17px with a 1.65 line height, and colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Tap targets are at least 44px, which is what makes the difference on a phone with a tremor.
- Motion respects your
prefers-reduced-motion setting — if you have it on, the animations do not run.
- Nothing is timed. No page expires, logs you out, or hurries you.
- Colour is never the only way information is given; the red and green states carry words as well.
4. What we have not done, honestly
This site has not been through a formal independent WCAG audit. We have tested it ourselves against WCAG 2.1 AA and fixed what we found, and that is a weaker claim than an audited one. We would rather tell you that than imply a certificate we do not hold.
The sample answers at /kit are a long, dense page by nature. If it is unreadable for you, ask and we will send the same content as a plain document.
5. No phone calls — and what we do instead
We do not take phone calls, video calls or screen shares. That is a deliberate choice about how the whole service runs, not an accessibility decision, and we know it suits some people and not others. What we offer instead is email that a real person answers within one business day, in whatever format you ask for, with everything in writing so you can re-read it and show it to someone else.
If email is the barrier for you and a call is what you need, we are not the right supplier for you, and we would rather say so plainly than take your money.
6. If we get it wrong
Email hello@silready.com and tell us what did not work. We will fix it or send you a version that works, and if we cannot, you get a full refund under our terms. Nothing on this page reduces your rights under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 or the Australian Consumer Law.
